I’m a trauma survivor from a very early age and have been surrounded by death, abuse, and abandonment for much of my life. Through hosting the stories of other survivors, I’ve come to realize that, with work, there’s a way out.
Stroke survivor, Marcia Moran, is my guest today. I have wanted to do an episode about this subject for a while, especially after I read her book, Stroke Forward.

The warning signs of a stroke

The importance of getting to the hospital as soon as possible and why BEFAST is so important.

I fell to the floor and started dragging my way toward the door, using my left hand and the carpet pile to leverage me.
I am Marcia Moran. This is my story…
